Flu Clinic Appointments
From Tuesday 22ndSeptember, bookings can be made for our Seasonal Influenza Flu Vaccinations. Our clinics will be held on Saturday 26thSeptember, Sunday 4thOctober and Saturday 10thOctober.
If you are eligible for this vaccination, please call 01883 347811 to book your appointment or request an appointment via our website www.caterhamvalleymedicalpractice.co.uk/navigator/request-an-appointment-with-a-nurse-or-healthcare-assistant/and an appointment will be allocated on your preferred date.
If you are under 65, please follow this link to check your eligibility before booking your appointment. www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/who-should-have-flu-vaccine/
To ensure the smooth running of our clinics and for everyone’s safety, we are limiting the number of patients in the practice at any one time. We are therefore asking all patients to wear a face covering, to respect social distancing and to attend on your own unless you require assistance. Hand sanitiser stations will be at the entrance for use on both entry and exit. Your temperature will be checked on arrival and you will be asked to have your preferred arm ready, so please wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm.
As there will be a limit to the number patients in the practice, please do not attend your appointment early or late as you may not be allowed entry. Do not attend if you have symptoms suggestive of Coronavirus or are isolating as per government guidelines.
Please note that parking will be very limited as queuing will start in the patient car park.
If you do not wish to receive the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination this year, please advise the surgery so that we may update your record and refrain from sending further invitations.
If you are aged between 50 and 64, further details regarding the flu vaccination will be made available by the Government in November. We are not currently able to offer the vaccination to this age group unless you are already in one of the at risk categories.
Thank you for your support.
